Digital Product Creation (DPC) Footwear Manager, 3D Production Services

Job Description

This position is responsible for overseeing the specifications process and the development teams to assure the on-time development, engineering, and accurate specification publication for all product.

Accountable for engineering the highest level of producible, innovative and quality products which meet the needs of the Company.

Manages the product development timeline in conjunction with the timelines of the Company’s business strategies. Develops products that meet or exceed pre-

determined gross margin targets, and communicates the specifications and product details to the Sourcing organization and Suppliers.

Works under general direction and handles products and issues of the highest complexity. Works independently but brings a track record of success in managing teams of people and multiple processes.

Establish control-related standards and procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

Oversee all aspects of digital production from the initial phase to the time it’s published.Working with a team of modeling specialists keep their workflow smooth and their deadline.

Providing creative input while driving team to finish quality content quickly and efficiently.Develop an eye for realistic digital material and shade of the highest quality to use in product creation of virtual files.

Create, refine, render, composite photorealistic 3D imageryLead 3D modeling team and propitiate allocation the resources for the various projects.

Working with the modeling team and develop a visual style and interfaces that will resonate with the target audienceWorking close with product design and development team and ensure all incoming reference is prepared for the all project.

Support and contribute the execution on concurrent assignments for multiple projectsReviews final layout and suggests improvements as needed.

Perform other duties as required.Strategizes with other DPC team members and stakeholders

Qualification & Requirements :

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience requiredProduct design or digital product related background with 7+ year experiencesMinimum of 3 years of experience managing a digital team of at least 2 designers.

Strong portfolio of work that demonstrates ability to implement effective, user-centered solutions.Expertise in : Maya, 3D MAX, Modo, V-

ray, Substance design (or other texturing software), Adobe Photoshop.Knowledge of various computerized 3D modeling fundamentals : Solidworks, Rhino, Blender, After effect, VRED, Unreal engine, 3D WebGL Familiarity with various digital related platform : DAM, PLM, SketchfabExceptional communication skills : ability to listen, provide feedbackLeadership skillsAbility to evaluate, manage and assign resources to projects based on required skill mixA genuine interest in the latest design and technology developments in the industry.

    Experience with digital product creation specifically footwear or soft goods.
