To facilitate business growth, we currently have an opportunity for a Portfolio Strategy Analyst in our Transaction Management team in our Hong Kong office.

The Portfolio Strategy Analyst will be part of a team responsible for the APAC region in supporting the business, stakeholders and making strategic long-term portfolio decisions.

Key responsibilities include reviewing the portfolio and evaluating alternative solutions, preparing detailed financial analysis, comparing strategic scenarios that can be presented to the business to drive outcome based solutions as per the property strategic vision.

Your other key responsibilities- Develop client P&L Tracking and cash flow analysis and reporting for the account.- Assist in the activities of the Transaction and Asset Management team across the account with respect to : - Portfolio due diligence- Real estate market data- Drafting portfolio strategy papers in timely manner- Financial analysis and reporting- Visualize real estate stories behind data and translate them into common business language easy to understand.

  • Ensure timely strategic reporting of monthly, quarterly and ad hoc financial reporting- Ensure accurate and timely financial data and strategic information is provided - Understand the operating costs, budget and forecast models- Evolving role with a wide opportunity to be trained with a capable team.
  • Skills Required - Relevant experience and / or Bachelor’s Degree preferred- Experience in Finance / Accounting / Statistics with min 5 years of real estate experience- Sound technical expertise cash flow and P&L financial modelling, as well as internal management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis - Strong writtencommunication and presentation skills for writing strategy papers and recommendations to drive business outcomes - Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to impact and influence colleagues an client across APAC region- Strong Excel skills and experience in preparing presentation material and software (ie PowerPoint)- Demonstrable ability to work with and influence finance and non-finance colleagues- Client / Customer Focused- Analytical and Planning Skills- Commercial Awareness- Team player- Ability to remain focused in a rapidly changing environment when stakeholders have competing goals- Ability to multitask and work to key deadlines
