Who we're looking for
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Business Control to join our WeLab Bank team
What you will be doing
Define and continually reassess key risk indicators and control measures to support an evolving business and regulatory environment
Perform and validate gap analysis of regulatory circulars against the established guideline to ensure business compliance
Work with compliance to ensure awareness of all applicable regulatory requirements and ensure appropriate coverage exists across different lines of business
Conduct independent review on operations to validate the effectiveness of key controls in the execution
Perform root causes analysis on identified issues / lapses and deploy appropriate corrective actions to enhance the control effectiveness
Lead and participate in various control projects, system and process enhancement to ensure the effective controls assurance
Oversee and coordinate Business Contingency Plan formulation and respective drill
Oversee complaint handling process of Operation teams, responsible for reviewing and implementing the relevant policy.
Drive together with various operation teams to implement efficiency gain projects

What is required and what we’re looking for :
Degree holder in Business Administration, Operations Management or equivalent disciplines
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in operational risk or audit discipline
Sound knowledge of HKMA regulatory requirements
Strong sense of risk and control awareness
Organized, responsible and keen for improvement opportunity
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Good verbal and written English and Chinese
