The Lead of the Integration Platform will be responsible for providing and end-to-end service to drive integration for CHANEL by defining capabilities of the digital integration platform, implementing any integration patterns for all business / IT domains, deliver the right data at the right time to the right people, process, or application by leveraging agile, flexible cloud technologies and combining disciplines such as Integration, API Management, Data Management and DevOps.
The Lead of the Integration Platform will work close with the Enterprise, Data & Solution Architects to drive the adoption of the Platform and the digital transformation of the ecosystem.
Usual activities include the development and Implementation of solutions, evaluate existing components and systems to determine integration requirements, coach and educate the team on best practices in integration design and development, monitor the integrations and plan for growth and long-term success, Manage the integration, analysis and assessment of plans and strategies across multiple projects and ensure that the final solution meets organizational needs.
The Integration Lead applies integration and technical architecture to the involved systems, leads the development of APIs, selects the integration approach and patters to be used, manages the transition and dependencies and any 3rd party involved.
Key Responsibilities
The Integration Lead role is responsible for the design, security, development and operations of the systems-to-system interfaces, dataflows, APIs and the integration middleware
Deliver the required systems integration solutions for a new business solution replacement and platform change, ensuring continuity and security of the systems, data, and business services during the conversion
Make sure the project documentation for architecture, design and test is available and up to date, as well as the constant alignment of the integration assets in the enterprise architecture repository,
Help define the integration and dataflow architecture and evaluate vendor web services and API capabilities. Identify gaps in available integration services and work on remediation strategies to ensure stability as the underlying platform technologies continue to evolve
Follow the processes of the integration operating model and make suggestions to improve it
Build, manage and give visibility to the stakeholders on integration project portfolio and pipelines, as well as reporting on the project performance in order to improve the operating model
Manage the API management tools
Contribute to development and management of API layers for the business e.g. mobile apps, third-party applications and services.
Collaborate with support teams to resolve production incidents and proactively seek opportunities to develop preventative measures to avoid recurrence
Foster strong team skills and culture for improving application integration techniques
Work Experience & Competencies
A minimum of 5 years in an integration role, with extensive end-to-end project delivery experience
A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development utilizing a variety of common system integration methods and technologies including web services, SOAP, JSON, REST, APIs, XML, automated testing frameworks, and orchestration tools
Expertise in comparing integration approaches and assessing their relative strengths and limitations in terms of meeting business goals
Experience in developing integrations in several technologies and languages such as Microsoft .NET, Java, JavaScript, PHP, and Python, as well as scripting in Linux and Windows
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Integration Services, including the API Management layer,
Experience working with relational databases and SQL supporting legacy integration techniques
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to customer service
Highly motivated with very strong interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team
Flexibility to balance competing initiatives, multi-task between project development and customer support, and adapt to changing business and technical requirements
Experience working in and contributing to a team-oriented, collaborative environment that values positive, collegial relationships among co-workers
Experience in an international context and culture, working with federated teams across multiple geographies and locations.
Previous experience working for an MNC, a major consultancy or recognized system integrator is a plus
Experience with cloud packages (e.g. Salesforce, Workday, Office ) in SaaS mode or Cloud deployment (e.g. AWS / Azure)
Experience working in a retail environment, with understanding on the customer trends and digital innovations in luxury retail a plus
Demonstrate capabilities to think strategically, tactically and operationally
Experience managing multiple vendors and projects simultaneously to deliver quality outcomes for internal stakeholders, across varied domains and geographical locations
Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to handle ambiguity and challenge status quo to drive continuous improvements

A Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent work-related experience
