Your creative data analytics capabilities will enhance the Finance division's ability to drive the strategic change agenda at pace to provide insightful commercial decision
To assist in developing and implementing one global COA for LHG's hotels and the on-site implementation by hotels, especially pre-opening hotels.
To enhance the Group consolidation report requirement and fundamental maintenance support for the Group BI tools and financial reporting syncing to the hotels' operation systems, including but not limited to PMS, POS, Loyalty program, Gift Vouchers platform & BI Tools.
To work towards finance process automation, achieving task efficiency and work productivity.
Key Responsibilities :
Data Management :
Guides and train the corporate and Hotels team on the development of LHG's BI reporting, operating budgets, consolidation, forecasting, and financial reporting system.
Responsible for the integrity of and reporting of financial data pertaining to the hotels and company. Recommend new initiatives to improve the effectiveness and efficiencies of financial and accounting systems and processes.
Perform analytical and statistical reports to the hotels, and the company management participates in system implementation and other ad hoc assignments such as a pre-opening hotel.
Identifying data gaps and shaping a program of work to close these gaps.
Transparent and efficient data filtering and cleansing to enhance data accuracy for use by hotel and company users
Data-driven business analysis to diagnose business issues, identify solutions and recommend actions to improve the business
Build out standard 'self-serve' data analytics tools to enhance business leaders' ability to draw on data to support their decision making directly
Consolidate dashboard performance reports and circulate them accordingly to respective users.
To work with business heads to identify system needs, analyse, assess the impact of changes and prepare requirement specification
Report review and audit processes to ensure ongoing relevance and accuracy
Working with the IT team to align data and infrastructure needs
Reporting System :
To review and monitor the progress of new and version upgrade system development
To research technologies that may enhance the hotel systems or which will soon / have phased out and provide recommendations to address the issues.
Develop / establish a set of reliable data sources from within the existing infrastructure to support LHG's business data needs
Actively participate and take the lead in LHG's dashboard business development and establishment of standard review cadence
Document process and continuously improve the forecasting methods, system functionalities and Excel spreadsheet usage, and sharing of best practices
If required, provide on / remote-site installation and support service, essentially for pre-opening hotels.
Actively participate in coaching the hotel and company users on LHG's BI tools and financial systems.

Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Computer Science / Finance / Business Information System / Hotel Management or equivalent required.
Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience in Multi-national companies
Strong technical knowledge in Hotel financial budgeting and reporting systems
Experience in system project management systems will be an advantage
Experience in the design or implementation of BI tools.
Experience in hotel operation / pro-opening and project development is a plus but not mandatory.
