Corporate Controllership operates as the internal consulting arm’ for the Hong Kong Jockey Club Finance Division. It is responsible for driving improvements in financial management including delivery and oversight of a program of initiatives to strengthen financial processes, systems and policies.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager Corporate Controllership, you will work on a program of process improvement and automation initiatives across the Finance Department to drive efficiencies and strengthen control over areas involving financial management. This will involve
Assisting in performing financial process and control re-engineering reviews (including, where possible, a focus on process efficiency, standardisation, and automation) and central financial monitoring activities
Liaising with Finance Business Users to identify and document business requirements for upcoming system enhancements / implementations
Coordinating Finance Business User involvement throughout delivery of system enhancements / implementations including User Acceptance Testing and development of End User Training materials.
Assisting Business Users in change management activities associated with system enhancements / implementations including preparations for future state operating procedures and policies.
Monitoring the ongoing status of the program of process improvement initiatives across the Finance Division for communication to Finance Senior Management
Other involvement in process, policy or system initiatives as required by the Executive Manager Corporate Services and Control
You should have :
Degree in accounting, information technology, engineering or related disciplines
Working knowledge of the financial applications and processes associated with large-scale ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion planning or Oracle BI) is preferred.
At least 3-5 years of experience working in either a technology consulting role (preferably top-tier) or as an internal Business Analyst at a large complex organisation involved directly in system enhancements and implementations.
Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously with relative autonomy.
Confident written and verbal communicator (English and preferably Cantonese and Putonghua). Able to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders including with Finance Senior Management.
