The HKEX Foundation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX), is set up to act as a single channel and a point of focus for HKEX Group's philanthropic efforts as well as a key interface for community engagement.
This newly established role will focus on supporting the operations of the Foundation, managing the Foundation's continued development, project management and day to day activities and engagement.
This role will also work alongside colleagues in the broader Corporate Communications Department in assisting HKEX's internal and external communications, the Group's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities and volunteering events.
The individual will :
perform allrounded charity project management duties from need assessment and research, due diligence, project vetting and management, grant making, risk and financial management, project evaluation and impact analysis, to structural level advocacy work
engage with the Foundation's internal and external stakeholders, from HKEX's business units and employees to NGOs, education institutions, government bodies, policy advocacies and other parties on driving the Group's philanthropic and community engagement objectives
be responsible for administrative support for the Foundation's dayto-day operation
prepare communications on the Foundation's community engagement and philanthropic efforts, include but not limited to management reports, newsletters, press release, social media and website updates, for both internal and external stakeholders
provide support to the Foundations' board of directors and other philanthropyrelated committees and working groups within HKEX Group to ensure the effective implementation of its activities on community engagement and charitable donations
assist in all other tasks and duties as assigned

be university educated - a degree in Social Science, Business Administration, CSR, Sustainability or relevant disciplines is preferred, but all disciplines will be considered
have 3 to 5 years direct or indirect work experience in philanthropy and / or welfare, charitable foundation or trust operation, charity project management, ESG or corporate philanthropy or sustainability be a strong communicator with an excellent command of verbal and written English and Chinese (Cantonese essential, Putonghua ideally)
be conversant with computer software such as MS Office and Adobe suite
be able to work independently and with strong organisation skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise
