Your Responsibilities :
The objective of the Enterprise Data Manager is to enable the Hong Kong, Singapore & Taiwan Cluster to establish and sustain over time good data quality and management across different enterprise platforms and systems for the benefit of fast, efficient and effective business and competitive analysis.
Partner with the CE / BI Manager to deliver data for reporting analysis according to business applications. Manage the relationship with Knowledge Center to ensure high standards of quality of the agreed support and service to the cluster.
Key responsibilities :
Lead data management activities from strategy alignment through implementation
Manage data content for accuracy, consistency, integrity over long periods of time within current and future systems in GSK (I.
e. Veeva, Datalab, Cognos / DMS)
Provide data in a format that facilitates analysis by the business users and that is ready for processing in enterprise wide systems (Locally, regionally, globally)
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to prevent mismanagement of data and resolving any issues in the provisioning, and processing of data
Mange a wide variety of data types / sources spanning a large range of subject matters (Customer data, sales data, stock information etc)
Ensure local data management and data processing is aligned to regional and global data governance processes in supporting the implementation of regional / global data strategy
Champion the cause for high quality data, automated data processing / integration and be an advocate for the importance of good data management to enable the LoC to become more data driven"
Owns the interface between Knowledge Center and cluster, ensuring that agreed SLAs are adhered upon and business leaders in cluster are aware of data management conditions when appropriate (such as when there are systems training, territory alignment changes etc).
Day to day management of Knowledge Center interface for the cluster within agreed SLAs and governance with region.
Active member of the commercial organization across cluster, collaborating across functions to drive performance and ensure alignment with cluster, regional and global direction and expectation
Look for opportunities to streamline data management processes in the cluster, harmonize ways of working.
Stakeholder management, extensive liaising with commercial leads in 3 LOCs, region and global.
Rapid response to events and market needs : facilitating fast feedback cross-functionally and driving rapid adoption of best practice within cluster
Ensure GSK s ethical standards are consistently met in the area of responsibility
Basic qualifications :
The candidate must have technical skills required to manage complex data combined with a good appreciation for business operations.
Must be strong in problem solving and stakeholder management.
Very strong MS Excel skills (A plus but not mandatory : some experience in the use of tools such as Qliksense or Power BI or Tableau)
Experience in managing data content in Veeva or Cognos / DMS
Excellent interpersonal and business communication skills with a proven ability to build trusting relationships.
Experienced in working with Knowledge Center
Excellent oral and written communication skills English proficiency.
Strong project management skills and must be well organized.
Demonstrable evidence of multi-cultural sensitivity
Preferred qualifications :
High technical competence is required to master the cross system / platform operation and synchronization
Should be a strong communicator to manage wide variety of stakeholders from commercial to KC & Tech’s supporting team
Commercial / Business acumen required to understand implication and use of data across the organisation and its intended value.
