Assistant Manager


  • Help establishing andrunning the fraud detection ( e.g. analysis of fraud risk areas andimplementation of red flags, exception reporting), conducting fraudinvestigation (e.
  • g. management of investigators, conduct reviews or interviews)and fraud prevention (e.g. implementation of control checks)

  • Delivery of regularmanagement information, key risk indicators, periodic and ad hoc reports tosenior management and key governance committees
  • To identify salescompliance and quality fulfilment gaps on sales practices through statisticalanalysis and sales quality checking and to recommend relevant remedial andimprovement actions
  • Develop and execute theinternal control programme, including :
  • Conduct reviews withfunctional departments and identify existing controls
  • Design and performcontrols testing to ensure effectiveness of new internal control and incompliance with Group’s internal control objectives
  • Identify deficienciesand high-risk areas in operation procedures and systems, and proposerecommendation for control improvement and risk mitigation
  • Assist in any ad hoctasks and projects as assigned
  • Qualifications

  • Good understanding of insurance distribution channels
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in fraud / internal control or internal / external auditing field, with experience in insurance operation is an advantage
  • Ability to identify a wide range of internal and external fraud risks to influence the creation of a commercially focussed fraud management strategy
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with an abilities to deal with people at all levels of the organisation
  • Good team player, positive thinking, highly motivated and eager to learn
  • Fluent spoken and written English & Chinese
  • Advance knowledge of SQL / VBA / SAS is preferable
