This role will work closely with the Regional VP JAPAC (direct manager) and other key JAPAC Management Team members to deliver on key strategic and operational projects.
Lead regional strategy projects (e.g. go-to-market model definition, cross-functional brand or country prioritization and resource optimization, capabilities evolution, innovation)
Co-ordinate and lead cross-functional regional management processes, e.g. Goal setting; integration of brand planning and budgeting processes; portfolio management
Facilitate JAPAC management Committee, both as "chief of staff" to head of JAPAC for ongoing operations and by leading specific projects
Key interfaces are to the JAPAC management team, Executive Team, especially heads of finance, HR, Medical, Access and Marketing, GMs; Brand leads
Impactful solutions to solve strategic issues (through project delivery)
Overall planning and coordination of leadership meetings
The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and knowledge or the equivalent.
Business degree or life science degree and substantial business experience
Fluency in English, both oral and written communications
Business degree or life science degree and substantial business experience; advanced degree(s) in business and / or science (i.e. MBA, PhD) is preferred
Consultant at manager or junior partner level with significant pharma experience, or equivalent
Fluency in English, both oral and written communications; fluency in multiple languages is a plus
