Senior Actuarial Analyst


Assist the Pricing Manager to provide actuarial services on productdevelopment projects and actuarial projects relating to business development aswell as channel compensation to the local business unit.

  • Analyze data and results to provide meaningful explanationsof results and trends and provide recommendations that are relevant to thebusiness
  • Prepare actuarial reports and results summaries inappropriate form for stakeholders
  • Coordinate with other actuarial and technical (e.g.investment) teams on assumptions, methodology, results and information required
  • Manage experience studies
  • Assist in planning and managing workflow for the team inline with priorities
  • Review work of junior staff for consistency, reasonableness,comprehensiveness and suitability for purpose
  • Provides ad-hoc support for the local business in line withpriorities
  • Support the business units in handling reinsurancearrangements and queries
  • Propose and implement improvements to regular departmentalprocesses, analyses, reports and documentation.
  • Maintain a clearly documented audit trail of data,assumptions, methods and financial results
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation ofprocesses
  • Qualifications

  • PassedSOA preliminary exams (Exams P, FM, MFE, MLC, C) or equivalent
  • Atleast four years’ experience in the Life Insurance industry
  • Goodcommand of business English, both in written and spoken form
