The HKUST MBA Program is searching for a capable and dynamic individual to fill the position of Manager in the MBA Office.
Reporting to the Head (MBA Program Administration), the appointee will be responsible for the following areas :
Lead and organize extra-curricular activities that enhance students’ learning experience and professional networking in both HK and Mainland China.
The candidate should be able to handle complaints, collect useful feedback from students and address them professionally.
The candidate should be able to think strategically, implement plans effectively and uphold the academic policy when necessary.
The candidate should be able to streamline processes, draft and implement policies, and coordinate with different parties to ensure alignment among all MBA programs.
He / She should be capable of solving problems by drawing valid judgement and under minimal supervision. The capability of providing close supervision and coaching to junior staff to ensure efficiency is a must
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree, preferably a master’s degree, with at least 7 years of work experience. Prior experience in self-financed graduate programs, student management or client management in Mainland China is highly preferred.

He / She must be able to lead and coach a small team with high efficiency. Irregular working hours including occasional weekends will be expected.
