The APAC Faculty Manager will be responsible for managing a team of Faculty across APAC, reporting into the Global Head of Management Development for Leadership Edge.
They will also participate in the APAC Talent Development, Diversity and Inclusion management team, representing Leadership Edge in the region.
The APAC Faculty Manager will also be responsible for delivering a combination of leadership labs and high impact programs to managers at all levels within the organization.
To be successful, the APAC Faculty Manager will need to demonstrate they meet standards of subject knowledge and program delivery through our inhouse certification process.
It is vital that they demonstrate an exceptionally high level of facilitation skill, which is integral to success of the overall effort to strengthen the management pipeline across the firm.
Preferred location for this role is Hong Kong.
Manage a team of senior facilitators across APAC at the Vice President level (including coaching and feedback, performance reviews, career guidance, recruiting and onboarding new team members, managing workload)
Ensure delivery of APAC Leadership Edge programs (Leadership Labs and High Impact Courses) by partnering with the Leadership Solutions on the creating the faculty schedule and managing unplanned coverage challenges
Partner with a team of regional Faculty Managers to ensure broad consistency in approach and content, as well as management of the Global Faculty team
Partner with Leadership Edge Leadership Solutions and Design Teams to collectively decision how we consistently and efficiently bring our content to our manager clients by providing and / or / representing Faculty feedback on design / content and administration of our Leadership Programs
Facilitation of leadership labs and high impact programs across all corporate levels, virtual and classroom, after successful completion of internal certification process for all instructor-led programs
Coach faculty in mastery of facilitation
Lead and co-facilitate sessions where we utilize business faculty and prepare leaders for delivery
Represent Leadership Edge in APAC region by building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders from LOB Learning & Talent Teams, HR, and business to support emerging needs
Build capability and capacity within faculty to support relationship management needs of strategic locations within APAC
Qualifications & Skills :
Experience managing and leading teams (minimum 10 years of managerial experience; 15+ ideal), as a manager of managers is a plus
10+ years of experience in training, learning and development, with at least 3 years in the subjects of Leadership & Management
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and relationship building skills in a multicultural and global environment
Ability to facilitate in-person and virtual training programs in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge and experience in creating engaging virtual learning experiences; Experienced in using Adobe and Zoom as a delivery platform
Confidence, professionalism and executive presence in front of senior leaders (1 : 1 and groups)
Intellectually curious and willing to challenge participants appropriately
Commitment to continuous learning and upskilling for individual self-improvement
Coaching experience and training / certification strongly preferred
Professional certifications and experience with psychometric tools (ICF, Emotional Intelligence 2.0, Strengths Finder, Situational Leadership II, Thomas-Kilman Conflict Indicator, DISC, Inside Out GROW coaching, Interpersonal Leadership Styles, etc.) are a plus
Fluency in Mandarin an advantage for China location training
Able to travel where required
