Wavemaker is an agency of GroupM, the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally.
We are looking for an Account Director. This role is to play a key role in ensuring our client’s campaigns run smoothly servicing a business division under a globally renowned technology & telecommunication brand.
More importantly it is to raise standards of delivery, elevate conversations beyond the tactical to the strategic level whilst navigating a complex piece of business.
It will require someone who is able to manage a team of people. Someone who is collaborative, patient, and who motivates and inspires the people around him / her.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about campaign management and who can coordinate among different local office teams.
We also need someone who is willing to roll sleeves up and implement and work closely with the team on a regular basis.
We are a bit different from other regional / global teams in that we do a lot of implementation centrally and at the same time there are local campaign running in various local country level that we need to oversees for giving strategic inputs and guidance, so if that is what you are interested in this client & team is definitely for you.
Our clients have very high expectations, but also need careful management. We need someone who therefore has good attention to details, but is also able to push back when necessary.
