This role provides guidance and direction on behalf of the Data Management Office to IT functions on technical aspects of AXA’s systems in line with the Data Strategy.
This role is accountable for ensuring that the business expectation is met by the IT change.
Work with Senior Manager to understand system and process changes required to meet data strategy targets. Then encapsulate technical details of the solution, translate and communicate them with internal and external IT Solution Providers for their delivery.
Responsible for maintaining relationship between the Data Management Office and the IT Scrum Teams.
Technical SME for Data Management Office that provided constructive challenges to IT direction to ensure that changes meet the needs of the Data Strategy and / or business.
Reporting and Project Management
Define and monitor performance indicators for Data quality and Data Management systems / processes and provide summary reports on an ongoing basis
Accountable for creating and maintaining backlog of changes required to systems to drive the data strategy.
Support Data Board to prioritize data projects, validate investments and funding proposals in line with agreed data
Support other business projects with relevant technical Data Management inputs as required
Data Management & Governance
Support the Senior Manager to build annual Data roadmap in line with systems technical capabilities and work with different parts of the business to drive execution on the roadmap.
Develop and drive external service provider to implement improvements to business rules for Master Data Management (MDM)
Manage Master Data Management (MDM) system on an on-going basis to ensure maintenance of the Single View of Customer (SVOC) across business lines
Support Senior Manager to put in place and maintain on an ongoing basis, a Data Governance framework and Data Management plan
University degree in Computer Science or related fields
Extensive experience in IT solution delivery, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience gained from insurance or financial services field.
Strong experience in development as technical lead contributing to technical design, providing guidance to developers and ensuring code quality.
Strong knowledge in wide range of technical landscape and latest technologies i.e. OAuth, Azure, DevOps CICD, Mulesoft API and data lake etc.
Experience in managing external vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver applications that meet company defined quality standards.
Strong solution delivery management skills and experience, and a proven track record of implementing multiple medium to large-scale systems in parallel.
Working knowledge of Master Data Management systems, Cloud services, Database operations or Business Analytics would be a plus
Good understanding of business processes and data modelling especially relating to master data domains such as Customer, Product of Finance data
Strong analytical mind with focus on attention to detail
Good command of English, Cantonese is a plus
