How you’ll make an impact You will be managing, growing and developing a team of sales professionals within Asia whilst driving the sales strategy within the countries you are covering.

This role is a key team member of the People Leadership team in Asia.The role will be leading a team of (1) Partner Development Representatives who recruit, educate and onboard Accounting and Bookkeeping firms ( Xero Partners ) into the Xero Partner program and (2) Account Managers that prospect, grow, and directly manage relationships with these Xero Partners, (3) Small Business sales team who develop and drive the growth of the SME market for Xero in Asia

What you’ll do

  • Responsible for people management (including coaching, mentoring and development) of the sales team
  • Leadership of team culture & environment
  • Sales management including planning, forecasting, execution and building a healthy business
  • Developing and driving the GTM country strategy - being hands on, with a focus on increasing branding awareness of the accounting & SME space for Xero
  • Organising events, speaking and building brand awareness to promote Xero and generate leads for the team
  • Being hands on in sales execution and relationship management of clients in Asia with a focus on long term customer value
  • Ensure a formal account engagement plan is developed and continually reviewed
  • Monitor client's progress through the sales cycle
  • Ensure CRM system is updated with all client communications
  • Driving collaboration with other partner resources
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to proactively identify strategic opportunities to drive pipeline and conversions
  • Developing sales partnership relationships, programs and associations to increase SME demand for Xero
  • Drives conversions of prospective customers from trial to paying subscriptions through inbound sales tickets and outbound prospecting
  • What you’ll bring with you

  • Proven experience in a team management role with ability to grow sales through the development, coaching and management of high performance teams
  • Proven ability in the implementation of effective sales processes
  • Successful track record of planning and rolling out GTM strategies in the region
  • Strong sales management and strategy experience preferably across Asia
  • A solid track record of addressing commercial opportunities and risks through innovative application of business acumen
  • Preference for strong market knowledge in SaaS and exposure to high growth environment in Asia
  • Proven sales performance and driving results
  • Fluent in Cantonese to speak with Hong Kong clients
  • An enthusiasm for building strong relationships and an ability to create a quick and strong rapport with clients
  • Strong business development skills
  • Loads of initiative and ability to work autonomously
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
