Money Laundering, and Anti-Illegal Betting contributes to the Club’s management of financial crime and corruption risks. We strive to maintain a secure environment to ensure the smooth operation of the Club’s business, and uphold honesty and fairness to help to protect horse racing in Hong Kong.
Manage the day-to-day operations in the Security Control Center (SCC) and Security Control Room (SCR) for the purpose of protecting the Club’s assets.
This is achieved by :
supervising & training of Security Control Centre Officers to ensure team members are performing duties as established in Standing Instructions, System Operating Guides and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
managing incidents or requests for assistance reported to the SCC & SCRs and ensuring they are properly handled & escalated;
being accountable for the systems, procedures, incident management and personnel;
reviewing control processes / procedures and the identification of opportunities for improvement regularly
Ensuring all security systems and equipment in SCC and SCR are regularly maintained and kept fully operational at all times.
This includes maintaining liaison with security systems and equipment suppliers and reporting any malfunction to the suppliers.
Maintain an active liaison with internal and external agencies to ensure efficient response to incidents.
Familiar with all SOPs and Standing Instructions. Ensure prompt and appropriate incident management and emergency response.
Immediate escalation of applicable security / safety related incidents to Security Management.
Evaluate situations with independent thought to establish a level of urgency and a prioritization of all issues and situations.
Management of all emergency situations and serves as the main point of communication.
Undertaking other duties assigned by Senior Security Control and Incident Manager.
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Security Team Head
At least 4 years related working experience
Good working knowledge and understanding of physical security and modern security technology.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in both written and spoken English and Cantonese..
Strong prioritizing abilities, analytical and problem solving skills.
Must be competent and literate with computers.
Notably Microsoft Windows Environment, MS Office Applications.
Terms of Employment
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate.
Contract renewal will be subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
