Assistant Manager, Quality Assurance and Testing Services

To provide specialist advice and lead the team on qualityassurance and testing, across multiple projects / systems and to deliver tobusiness needs including :

Understandthe testing effort by analysing the requirements of projects.

Estimate andobtain management support for the time, resources and budget required toperform the testing.

Organize thetesting kick-off meeting

Define the testingstrategy with support from Testing Manager

Arrange testresources with appropriate skills, attitudes and motivation as well asleveraging the Regional Service centre TCOE

IdentifyTraining requirements and forward it to the Senior Manager, Quality Assuranceand Testing Services (Technical and Soft skills).

Develop thetest plan for the tasks, dependencies and participants required to mitigate therisks to system quality and obtain stakeholder support for this plan.

Arrange theHardware and software requirement for the Test Setup.

Assign taskto all engaged testing resources and ensure that all of them have sufficientwork in the project.

Ensurecontent and structure of all Testing documents / artefacts is documented andmaintained.

Document,implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for quality assurance and testingas per standards defined by the organization.

Check / Review the Quality Control and Test Cases documents.

Keep trackof the new requirements / change in requirements of the Project.

Escalate theissues about project requirements (Software, Hardware, Resources) to ProjectManager

Organize thestatus meetings and send the Status Report (Daily, Weekly etc.) to the Client

Attend theregular client call and discuss the weekly status with the client.

Communicationwith the Business

Act as thesingle point of contact between Development and Testers.

Track andprepare the report of testing activities like test testing results, test casecoverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performancebaselines etc.

Reviewvarious reports prepared by Test engineers.

Ensure thetimely delivery of different testing milestones.

Prepares / updates the metrics dashboard at the end of a phase or at the completion ofproject.

Typically requires a tertiary qualification in an IT discipline or related field

Strong analytical capability and skills (i.e. - database architecture design, business intelligence application configuration, MIS report development, etc.)

Ability to make insightful, successful decisions

Competent delivering results through ownership & drive

The ability to think creatively and ensure services meets stakeholder needs and are fit for purpose.

The ability to manage multiple tasks, work to tight deadlines

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Strong presentation skills

Strong analytical skills

Ability to gather, synthesise and analyse data and draw logical conclusions

Well organised and results-driven individual.

Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities.
