The Associate Global Supply Planner balances global demand and supply, planning inventory and executing procurement / production orders for assigned brand(s) against a market level phased demand forecast.
The Planner creates feasible supply plans that meet minimum order quantities while recognizing and communicating the impact of constrained capacity on demand.
The success of this position is to support our customer service KPI (OTIF, RLIP, CLIP) and our agility in response to market at the shortest lead time.
Meanwhile, the ability to manage our stakeholders and customers across the globe through partnership behaviour that will create the best value for this position.
Work with engineering & Project Management on MOQ and lead time issues when products are in development stage
Monitor sales forecast changes to ensure demand requirement are met
Plan & control item schedules and proactively communicate if current capacity is at risk
Manage allocation of production capacity
Assist in material management
Coordinate Global Planning and Market MA releases
Manage material authorizations with respect to MOQ & lead-time issues
Assist in order processing and data maintenance
Order confirmation release
Ensure orders are released on time to keep production continuity & match forecast requirement
Assist in providing customer service KPI (OTIF, CLIP, RLIP)
Degree holder in Engineering / Diploma holder in Engineering or Supply Chain or Business
Minimum 2-3 years’ solid experience in production and material planning, preferably in toy industry or FMCG
Knowledge of inventory control and shipping would be an advantage
ERP experience like SAP is a plus
Good command of spoken & written English
Good PC knowledge
Able to work independently and under pressure.
Able to meet multiple deadlines
Willing to take up challenges and open minded
