The Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support.

The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services.

    Group / Division

    The Instruments Group at KLA offers a large portfolio of profilometers, nano-indenters, thin film reflectometers and Candela® defect inspection and metrology systems.

    KLA Instruments' line of optical and stylus profilers offer a complete range of surface metrology capabilities for engineering and research communities.

    Our benchtop and automated profilers are designed to measure step height, film thickness, form, texture and automated defect inspection.

    We also offer nanomechanical testers for material characterization and these nano-indenter systems can be used to measure hardness, Young’s modulus, adhesion and more.

    Our affordable UV to NIR spectrometer systems measure thin film thickness from 1nm to 13mm, optical constants, and deposition rates of thin films.

    Position Description

    KLA seeks a highly organized team player with extensive sales experience in optical metrology and / or test systems to join our Benchtop Instruments Sales organization.

    Responsible for Sales Management of direct team and channel partners (CPs) involved in selling the KLA Instrument Group’s Benchtop products for Asia.

    The product portfolio includes stylus profilers, 3D optical microscopes, nano-indenters and spectrometers. Responsible for meeting bookings and revenue targets along with execution of the business growth strategy for Asia.

    Role includes new account development and expansion of existing accounts in addition to development of new business opportunities and maintenance of customer relationships across the region.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve Bookings / Revenue targets for the region.
  • Closely work with Channel Partners (CPs) and direct sales team to develop and execute sales growth plans. Establish a regular cadence for managing key CPs which includes regular visits for business review meetings, trade shows and customer visits
  • Manage strategic sales accounts directly and assist with technical selling, business development, qualifying new applications, markets, and customers
  • Support channel partner needs with respect to product information, system configurations and marketing tools
  • Understand the metrology requirements of customers and suggest solutions using KLA’s various optical and interferometry-based techniques.
  • Deliver accurate product sales forecasts through close management of sales forecasting via CRM
  • Performance management including coaching and mentoring of sales team members to achieve maximum potential and continuous monitoring of performance to important metrics
  • Work closely with colleagues in Marketing to develop lead generation strategies including in targeted strategic vertical markets
  • Formal reporting and feedback to management and Business Units on the execution of sales strategy, competitive landscape and overall business performance within the region
  • Deliver long term growth for the region which includes recruitment / training of team members and driving best-in-class sales processes across the organization
  • Willing to travel up to 30%
