We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as Digital Content Author.
What is Content Studio?
Content Studio designs, builds and manages all the public websites for HSBC's customer facing business, Retail Banking and Wealth Management.
We cover 26 APAC countries, introducing and explaining our products and services, and educating the public on financial security and well-being.
What you'll do :
Build intuitive, user-friendly web pages with an emphasis on mobile thinking.
Work in a multi-disciplinary squad with copywriters, image designers, optimisation, data and outbound messaging experts to deliver an amazing web experience for our customers.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the region to drive country or product specific goals.
Develop offshore development teams to tackle multiple projects that will be viewed by millions of customers worldwide.
Scope, deliver and manage ongoing optimisation of our sites. You'll use digital data, competitor analysis, SEO rankings and keyword research to find out what works and what doesn't, so we can constantly improve HSBC's web presence.
Experience delivering digital best practice in areas such as : website content or e-commerce, content strategy, web analytics, SEO, SEM, writing for web, optimisation and accessibility, UX, UI.
Ability to juggle multiple projects for international stakeholders, each with their unique set of priorities.
Strong relationship management skills : you'll need to communicate technical issues, resolve differences, and influence stakeholders.
You should be fluent in simplified Chinese, spoken Mandarin and be familiar with China specific digital channels (Wechat, Weibo)
Even better if you have :
Professional qualifications or relevant experience in digital marketing / media advertising / digital communications.
Finance or banking industry experience and relevant knowledge of working in regulated markets.
Experience using a Content Management System (Adobe Experience Manager preferred), Jira and Confluence or other project management tools.
