As a key member of our Greater China Business, you’ll be responsible for providing quality system support and guidance to our commercial teams.
A varied role, you’ll provide leadership for excellence in Quality and Compliance of all RB Hygiene products and processes within the supply / distribution chain, including embellishment and fulfilment activities.
You will lead and facilitate quality compliance & continuous improvement activities and integrate these principles within the region through proactive communication, partnering, training and education.
You will provide feedback to the region on performance against relevant internal and external quality, regulatory / statutory requirements and observe / audit against these requirements.
Overall, you will serve as a resource for information relative to all aspects of products and process quality and facilitate the right first time’ approach through implementation of new products and processes.

Have experience in developing and maintaining a robust QMS in a, Hygiene, FMCG, Healthcare or Medical Device related industry.

Feel comfortable standing your ground to ensure operations do not compromise the quality of products. Have auditing skills or have managed a supplier auditing program in the past.

The primary responsibility of the Quality manager is to provide leadership for excellence in Quality and Compliance of Hygiene products and processes within the supply / distribution chain & commercial activities.
The QM will lead and facilitate quality continuous improvement activities; assure proper quality systems are developed to comply with customers and consumer requirements, current regulations such as relevant GMP and GDP;
implement processes and procedures and observe / audit for compliance; establish objectives for Quality improvement within the Hygiene Business Unit;
provide feedback to the Business Unit on performance against relevant internal and external quality, regulatory / statutory requirements;
serve as a resource for information relative to all aspects of products and process quality; facilitate the right first time’ approach and implementation of new products and processes;
and support and integrate continuous improvement principles within the Business Unit through proactive communication, partnering, training and education.
Responsibilities / Accountability
LOCAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (QMS)
Responsible to support the GM’s and their management teams to enable them to develop and implement the local Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure fully compliant products.
Provide leadership on continuous improvement projects determined by local requirements (customer or consumer feedback, regulation, etc.
or by Global Quality requirements
Ensure a system is in place to manage local distribution, embellishment, re-pack, and co-packing work to meet all regulatory requirements.
Training Develop and carry out training for each business relevant to the RB global QMS & to the local QMS, and in cooperation with local Regulatory any significant changes in the legislation which impact the business.
Report level of compliance of local QMS versus global QMS, Policies and GDP regularly to GM’s, Regional SVP’s, Supply SVP’s, (via Management Review, metrics and KPIs) and drive closure of gaps to maintain compliance.

FREIGHT, DISTRIBUTION and EMBELLISMENT
Responsible for the quality oversight of freight-in operations, distribution and embellishment activities.
Responsible for initial compliance assessment and approval of Distributors & Embellishers handling products.
Prepare Technical Agreements (TAs) for Distributors & Embellishers
INTERFACE WITH REGIONAL / SUPPLY QUALITY
Work with regional and Supply Quality / External Manufacturing teams to ensure implementation of appropriate controls to ensure consistent quality of products
Co-ordinate and host external inspections by External Authorities, third-parties and Reckitt Benckiser in cooperation with Regulatory.
KPI & METRICS MANAGEMENT
Identify and establish insightful KPIs and metrics for the commercial unit, DC and embellisher. Track and trend data to then initiate improvement projects that drive quality and business value.
Conduct regular management reviews to present findings and implement CAPA plans for any improvements
Relentless obsession with products on shelf and consumers experience lead intelligent evaluation of consumer feedback, interpretation of data and trending, and promote actionable remediation & prevention tasks
Professional Qualifications / Experience
At least 5 years’ experience working in a quality compliance function in Hygiene, Home, FMCG,, Heathcare, or Medical Device related industry
Experience in developing and maintaining a robust QMS
Auditing skills, appropriate qualifications in auditing an advantage.
Clear understanding and ability to assess and act upon product safety, quality, efficacy and compliance risks.
Good understanding of regulatory, GMP and GDP requirements relevant to a regulated product
Results oriented, entrepreneurial & self-motivating
Bias for action, capability to define, evaluate & take risks
Influencing skills in areas with no direct reporting authority. Capability building strong working relationships and motivating teams to deliver outstanding results
