The Red Hat Marketing team is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager for Hong Kong and Taiwan to join us. In this role, you will report to the director of marketing for Greater China (GCG).
You'll develop and implement integrated marketing programs and campaigns, some of which will be centrally provided, targeting and nurturing existing and prospective direct customers and our channel and alliances business partners.
Through these programs and campaigns, you will support Hong Kong and Taiwan business plans and lead brand awareness and demand generation activities, including customer and partner events, trade shows, digital promotions, advertisements, and PR in cooperation with GCG and Asia Pacific (APAC) marketing teams.
As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will directly impact the achievement of our exponential business growth by teaming up with other marketing team members and senior sales leadership in the region.
Your day-to-day work with Hong Kong and Taiwan regional sales director will be crucial to the success of your mission.
Primary job responsibilities
Engage with Hong Kong and Taiwan sales and partner management teams, as well as with APAC and GCG regional marketing teams, to define, prioritize, and implement marketing programs and campaigns with our existing and prospective customers and selected local partners and alliances
Engage with selected local resellers and distributors to create and lead marketing campaigns to grow revenue and sales opportunities
Use a broad mix of marketing programs, e.g., event marketing, social media, and direct marketing for named accounts and customers to generate interest and demand
Track and monitor the ROIs of programs and investment by engaging with partner marketing teams and channel sales resources to ensure that the value is quantified and captured for future investment
Engage with sales management and sales teams to educate field sales representatives on the value proposition of open source, Red Hat' s portfolio of solutions, and how to convince customers to select our solutions
Follow lead management processes and metrics to ensure the success of campaigns
Apply the right marketing tools and systems as appropriate, including web content submissions and management
Serve as a budget manager and facilitate the relationship
7-10 years of experience in a variety of marketing areas within the IT sector; both direct and channel marketing experience are a plus
Extensive familiarity with events planning and management
Knowledgeable and experienced in Hong Kong market; Taiwan marketing experience is a plus
Good knowledge of tools and processes related to go-to-market campaigns
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a relevant field is a plus
