Environmental sustainability is integral to adidas Own the Game 2025 strategy. The management of supply chain’s environmental program is complex and challenging.

To continue to advance progress towards the environmental targets, we need to work in a wider spectrum and collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to drive changes and identify the opportunities for further improvement.

The purpose of this role is to support Senior Manager SEA, Environment (Program and Data Management) to manage the interconnectivity of the supply chain program needs to the system capabilities and performance due diligence check.

This role also manages, maintains, and configures the system to support supply chain environmental performance targets tracking.

Key Responsibilities and Projects :

Environmental Data Management

  • Manage, maintain, and configure the system to support supply chain environmental performance targets tracking through delivering reports, dashboards and insights that accurately assess the environmental and business impacts of the supply chain environmental program
  • Ensure system capabilities, performance due diligence and data quality are aligned to the adidas supply chain environmental program requirement
  • Develop system structure to ensure seamless flow from supply chain’s primary data input, performance analysis, verification to reporting
  • Measure, evaluate and monitor all strategic suppliers’ carbon emission, energy, water, waste and other performances in adidas’ environmental system
  • Provide supplier’s monthly on-time reporting status and performance analytic results to ensure transparency to internal stakeholders
  • Conduct data quality review and statistical analysis of supplier-provided environmental data in the adidas environmental data system
  • Support in the dashboard project, ensure configuration align the environmental targets review requirement and provide training to internal users
  • Develop materials for communication of environmental initiatives to both internal and external stakeholders ensuring message consistency across the company.
  • This includes writing and editing materials, cross-function communication and presentation.

  • Develop materials and deliver training to internal users on program and system tools Implement, test and validate new updates in the data management system, including new reports analytics and report functions.
  • Environmental Due Diligence

  • Develop the supply chain data validation guidelines to ensure adidas supply chain environmental program’s data management system in place
  • Support in delivering environmental due diligence supply chain environmental performance results, risk identification and potential future consequences, transparent and public reporting that will be available for a minimum of 7 years.

  • Social Environmental Affairs Team
  • GOPS Sustainability Team
  • Sourcing divisions, Global Operations and local teams in various locations
  • External system vendor
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Proficient in environmental data mining and analysis techniques
  • Experience with automating data collection and management
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Aptitude for insights-driven quantitative analysis.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets, derive relevant insights / interpret trends, and present complex information in an understandable manner.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with business and external partners across time zones.
  • Project management knowledge and experience, including developing and maintaining project plans, providing regular communication, coordination,
  • Strong communication and presentation skills as well as good written and verbal English, plus other Asian languages are desirable
  • Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications :

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in the area(s) of environment and sustainability, with experience in systems and process management preferable within the supply chain and / or sustainability sector
  • Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering / Management / Science
