The City Platform Operations (Marketplace Management) team is ultimately helping to drive more holistic solutions in order to maximize the efficiency and balance of the marketplace.
We are looking for an Associate / Senior Associate, Platform Operations who will support our business by combining data insights and local market intelligence to grow the marketplace while ensuring good user experience through optimizing commercial settings and online platform tactics, while also contributing to the product development process and maintaining an on-going dialogue with our city operations teams.
You will need to wear many hats, work smart and iterate quickly.
What you'll do
Conduct ongoing performance review and lead the implementation of optimization initiatives (e.g. online platform incentives, market subsidies, etc.
for designated market with the objective of marketplace transaction growth and desired service level
Contribute to the continuous refinement of market performance monitoring and management framework and process to ensure a structured approach in driving market growth through combination of data analysis and market intelligence collection
Manage the online platform budget for your designated market, and to maximise the effectiveness and ROI of implemented campaigns and initiatives
Collaborate with city teams and other functional departments to ensure business and team objectives are met
Support adhoc projects and cross departmental initiatives as required
What you'll need
2+ years of experience in operations or a similar analytical role; relevant experience in a high growth start-up environment or online marketplace preferred
Previous experience working with, analyzing, and presenting findings from large data sets
Proven track record of effective project management, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders
Ability to work effectively with cross-cultural and functional teams
Strong verbal and written communication skills with fluent proficiency in written and spoken English
Occasional travel is required
