About the team :
You will report to the HK CEO, working closely with different regional functions / offices.
Job Responsibilities :
Lead the Life Actuarial Function in performing the actuarial duties included but not limited to reserve valuation, life insurance product pricing, Participating products governance, Asset Liability Management and reinsurance management.
Be a member of the HK Management Team and relevant Committees.
Working and advise the CEO on multi-functional matters including business & product strategy, solvency requirements, dividend / crediting rate management, Financial, Capital & Asset Liability management, strategic planning and other actuarial related matters.
Calculate the HK Statutory and IFRS17 reserves & SII and to ensure the appropriateness of the methodologies and underlying models used as well as the assumptions made in calculation.
Adopt, implement and comply with Group and local policies, guidelines and procedures on actuarial related matters and performing the role of Appointed Actuary
Job Requirements :
Fellow actuary with 15+ years of actuarial experience with 5 years+ leadership and management experience
Experience in the life insurance industry with in-depth HK life insurance product knowledge
Strong leadership skills with demonstrated excellence in building and leading teams
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience communicating organizational strategy to create a clear vision of the future state and business objectives
Strong consultative and influencing skills with the ability to handle opposing perspectives and gain consensus
