Responsible for the large and complex property & engineering insurance claims handling and managerial support
Provide technical support to the team
Assist the Claims Manager in managerial tasks and other ad hoc tasks
Engage and inform internal customer stakeholders to ensure relevant customer issues are informed
Collaborate, inform and engage with external partners / suppliers to resolve queries, discuss progress and promote effective communication
Engage and collaborate with our brokers and intermediaries to ensure that they are kept being informed
Inform, engage collaborate with customers in accordance with specific claims handling protocol or customer proposition service charter
Adhere to local regulatory and governance requirements throughout the life of the claim to ensure that we make decisions using the right standards.
Compliance with customer protocols / service charter
Engage with regulatory or legislative organizations depending upon territorial regulatory requirements
5 years experience in Household, Retail Property including shop package claims
Preferably Bachelor degree
Candidates with relevant working experience and working towards the recognised industry standard will also be considered
Experience in retail Property claims with good customer service skill is a must
Has extensive experience with all major aspects of the claims adjustment process
Technical claims handling knowledge of Household & Retail Property products
Technical knowledge of products and services
Knowledge of claims agreements with understanding of industry standards and protocol
Understand local legislation and legal liability with knowledge on interpretation of policy over
Knowledge and application of the litigation process
Data analytical skill is preferred
Be able to articulate how to prioritise and work to deadlines
Desire to learn and be flexible to business change
Candidates with less experience will be considered as Claims Officer
