Your Role

  • Support to design and build the datawarehouse / datamart models, a centralized repository of integrated data from various data sources and required components, such as ETL processes, reports and dashboards
  • Design and create end-to-end ETL processes utilizing tools such as MS SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SSAS or others
  • Utilize Microsoft Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services in designing and building reports and dashboards
  • Define and create business datamarts / datasets, measures, KPIs and dashboards to empower data analytic capability across functional teams for Life Business
  • Study and understand the company's business processes and applications, including their effect on data and reporting, and applies the knowledge gained in designing datasets, reports and dashboards
  • Identify and document all requirements for components, dashboards and reports by working with IT and SMEs
  • Prepare test plan, test cases / scripts, perform testing and user training
  • Assemble performance statistics, analyze them and make recommendations for improvements
  • Establish data dictionary and other related documentation
  • Your Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor degree with 5 years of relevant experience in Business / Requirement Analysis, Data Transformation & Visualization, preferably in insurance industry
  • Knowledge of insurance products, operations, policy admin system, would be an advantage
  • Experience in data mapping, ETL process, data-modeling and reporting / dashboard functions
  • Experience in using Microsoft Azure, Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS / PowerBI
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good communication skills and able to articulate business processes / requirements to all levels
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
