The appointee will be affiliated with the College Development Office and responsible for (a) developing and executing the fundraising and marketing plans with the supervisor's guidance to achieve fundraising targets;
b) planning and liaising with both internal and external parties to organize ceremonies, events, and campaigns for fundraising and alumni initiatives;
c) providing executive support to the Office, including handling donations and acknowledgements, performing liaison and committee work, compiling proposals and reports;
d) preparing publicity materials for online and social media platform(s); and (e) performing other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
Occasional irregular working hours, including weekends, evenings or holidays, may be required.
Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor's degree; (ii) at least 3 years' post-qualification experience, preferably in fundraising, event planning, or marketing related fields;
iii) an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (iv) a good working knowledge of computer skills;
v) excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills, and a detail-oriented mind; (vi) a positive work attitude and high self-motivation;
and (vii) the ability to manage various projects independently and meet tight deadlines.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
