Overview
The Asia Private Banking Client Service Team is currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated professional to join their team.
The team is responsible to provide support to Bankers and Investors, as well as managing the day-to-day administration and servicing for client accounts.
Responsibilities
Managing a team of Client Services professionals responsible for day to day account administration and servicing of external clients
Provides proactive personalized service including transaction processing / execution of cash products, assist client on cash flow management, inquiries, investigation handling, and account monitoring
Coordinates with internal and external parties to ensure smooth private bank accounts opening as requested by clients, ensuring all necessary documentation is requested, completed, received and approved for account opening
Assists Bankers in arranging credit related documents for client completion
Assists Bankers in day to day supporting on Fiduciary Structure service including Trustee managed account and coordinate with Internal and External Trustee to fulfill document for account operation
Assists Bankers in preparation for client meetings and marketing trips and preparation of marketing materials to new clients, and post-meeting follow-up including execution of client instructions, preparation of product proposals and account opening
Assist in project related activities including the testing of applications and efficiency / improvement initiatives
Participating in new hire process including Interviewing of candidate, providing feedback and coaching
Qualifications
Tertiary education holder of above
Extensive 10+ years of solid Client services / Relationship Manager support experience working
Knowledge of Private Banking investments products and the relevant operational aspects of Private Banking cash products such as money transfers, loans, time deposits and investment products such as funds, Securities and Fiduciary Service Structure (Trustee) etc.
understanding of the documentation and securities settlement requirements
Solid understanding of all control standards, particularly those related to money transfers, securities settlement, hold mail, credit, Fiduciary Service and other transactional services
Language Requirements - In addition to English and Cantonese must possess fluent written and spoken Mandarin including knowledge of both simplified and traditional Chinese characters to be capable to deal with clients independently and able to understand client inquiries and problems;
possess judgment and discretion in working with highly confidential information
Good interpersonal skills to service and maintain clients and Bankers relationships
Adaptable and able to work in a demanding and unpredictable environment, detail-oriented and results-focused
Leadership experience in team management or aspiring people manager
Desirable Experiences
Experience in relevant Private Bank Market (China, South Asia, HK, Expat, Taiwan)
