The Club is seeking an AVP to join its Strategy Planning & Execution Team (SPE). SPE works closely with the business to drive the entire process from determining where to play, how to win, what capabilities to build, and seeing through the built out of those capabilities.
We are looking for someone who started their career as a Business Analyst / Project Manager before moving onto more business centric roles.
Your Role
Hands on responsibility for certain programs
Determine program roadmap, drive detail business design, manage implementation timeline and overall governance across multiple initiatives
Develop new initiative’s business justification, determine business requirements for the commitment of resources and implementation
Align shared service teams (digital, analytics, marketing) and support groups (Fin, Legal, HR) to program priorities
Identify, assess and mitigate program risks that could impair the ability to execute and scale the program
Provide management assistance, for instance by convening program reviews and management meetings
Support 10x growth for the business in the next 3 years
Strategy planning, execution, review, and optimization throughout our multi-year 10x growth journey
As a business partner, help align & integrate various business initiatives / operations to ensure a comprehensive digital ecosystem is built for our members
Proactively identify opportunities for the business, research & understanding the landscape & environment, put together business plans to realize those opportunities
Drive SPE success as part of the SPE leadership team
Contribute and establish best practice for program control and excellence
Guide junior team members in their respective programs
Be a good coach / teacher / mentor for junior members of the team
To Succeed in this role, you will need / have / be
10 years of experience in both project management & program management
Demonstrated leadership and change management skill on both people you directly manage and to people you don’t directly manage
Implemented digital projects using various forms of project management methodology
Managed multiple programs where you played a hands-on program manager role
Excellent stakeholder management; ability to forge strong internal relationships across a broad range of functions
Good business acumen, able to understand an organization’s value proposition, its strategy, key competitors and connect it holistically to the day to day business operations
Able to tie in financials and business environment to the program you are managing
Team orientated
Energetic and dynamic in style; passion to learn new things; extremely adaptable in a constantly changing environment
Domains you should have experiences in or be excited to learn (E-Commerce, Loyalty, Digital Business)
