The Wear OS Partner Engineering team works with the Wear OS device ecosystem to extend the boundaries of the Android platform.
The team works in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment and is deeply engaged with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), carriers, chip-set manufacturers, and original device manufacturers (ODMs) across the globe.
Our aim is to grow the Devices and Services ecosystem through launching great products and make Wear OS the platform of choice with consumers and partners.
As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be the engagement manager, who's responsible for the success of our largest Wear OS OEM and ODM partnerships.
You will lead deployments and optimize implementations to increase business. You will drive new business opportunities and manage the overall technical aspects to build successful long-term partnerships.
You will drive the technical partner engagement for our innovative projects and provide insight for the future.
Minimum qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in technical support, professional services, engineering, sustaining engineering, or systems engineering.
Experience with developing web applications and programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, JVM Hotspot, HTTP, HTTPS).
Preferred qualifications :
Experience with front-end development of a partner-facing tool.
Experience with the entire Android stack from Apps, OS, to Kernel / Hardware.
Understand Android platform and it's development.
Understand Android and Devices and Services ecosystem and their programs.
Build partner-facing infrastructure to scale partners and their device management.
Improve product excellence by integrating quality and requirement tools.
