We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Head of Client Propositions, Wholesale . Principal responsibilities
The role reports to Regional Head of Client Propositions, Asia Pacific and leads the Client Propositions team in Asset Management Hong Kong focusing on wholesale segment
The role takes full ownership and accountability of the Client Propositions function for the Wholesale segment in Hong Kong and China markets with close collaboration with local Chief Executive Officer, sales heads and other senior members.
Delivery of investment marketing and communication materials to the wholesale client segment in Hong Kong and China, including Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, Global Private Banking and external wholesale distributors
Support production of full suite of product and investment communications materials by working closely with cross border Client Propositions teams and adhering to global standard and process to meet the needs of local sales and clients
Build strong relationship with other group businesses for effective collaboration on marketing activities to the bank’s key clients
Drive the development of digital initiatives and other innovations to bring maximum values to the business in terms of client communications and total experience
The role holder will also be accountable for operational management of the Client Propositions function in Hong Kong, including the budget, vendor relationships and, act as a main contact point for representatives of the shared services to the Client Propositions function
Ensure adherence with production processes, coordinate relevant local and international approvals and maintain the integrity of any local or regional audit requirements.
A University graduate in the area of business, economics or finance, Masters of Business Administration preferred, with good understanding of the financial and investment markets in Hong Kong and China
Solid years of marketing experience in global asset management companies, ideally with solid experience in major fund houses
Strong project management and senior stakeholder management skills
Good understanding of investment philosophy and process, investment products and financial markets and the ability to apply this effectively to client materials
Well rounded marketing skill across broad marketing mix.
Hands on experience in driving digital strategy in major financial organisation
Strong leadership skills with experience in team management
Ability to work with teams with diverse background and culture
Good interpersonal and collaboration skill. Ability to work with senior stakeholders, portfolio managers, sales and business heads
Excellent communication and language skills, English, Cantonese and Mandarin written and oral
Excellent PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills
