Reporting to the Deputy Director (Administration), the Senior Head of Campus Development & Sustainability has the overall responsibility for the campus master plan, capital construction projects and facility management of the Academy to support its strategic development.

The appointee will lead and manage a team of professionals to perform duties including campus planning, management of development projects, building services, facilities services and maintenance.

He / She will also act as the liaison person with government departments, statutory bodies and consultants in fulfilling the duties of the Campus Development and Sustainability Office.

Ample opportunities exist for the appointee to further develop and advance his / her career to senior management level within the Administration.

Candidates should possess :

  • a) a recognized degree and relevant professional qualification in architecture, engineering, building and / or surveying;
  • b) substantial hands-on management experience in managing projects, building services, facility operations and maintenance services in sizeable organizations, preferably in a higher education institution;
  • c) proven management and leading ability to complete multiple tasks within their respective schedules;
  • d) experience in managing government funded capital construction projects and government subvention projects is highly desirable;
  • e) excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and

    f) good analytical and interpersonal skills.


    Appointment will be on a 2-year contract, further appointment will depend on availability of funding at the time. A gratuity payment equal up to 15% of basic salary earned during the contract period will be payable upon satisfactory completion of contract.

    Fringe benefits include housing allowance, leave, medical, and dental benefits. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
