An exciting opportunity exists to join Citi Research and Equity Advisory Services as a member of its Global Research Connect team
The Research Connect team supports both Research and Equity Sales teams by providing information about business policies and the technology that supports those policies.
This takes many forms including classroom training, a comprehensive website housing documentation and news, desk visits, video, newsletters, and other forms of communication
The Research Connect team has members located in New York, Buffalo, London, Hong Kong, and Mumbai. This role will be based in our Hong Kong office and the successful candidate will be expected to support analysts and sales in all regions.
The role would particularly suit a technology trainer or technical writer comfortable supporting high-end professionals in a dynamic environment
Responsibilities include :
Lead and manage the New Hire On boarding program. Update content and maintain attendance records
Participate in the Ad Hoc training programs, delivering Just In Time material as needs arise
Act as a first point of contact for support questions relating to a suite of proprietary applications
Participate in user acceptance testing for proprietary applications prior to system deployments
Maintain relationships and contact with regional Analyst teams
Partner with local management and Operations staff to understand local business objectives and devise a strategy to address needs
Leverage external vendors and internal subject matter experts to deliver analytical and professional development programs
Comfortable speaking in a variety of situations including 1x1 and in conference rooms
Learn and quickly become familiar with new applications
Excellent Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
Evidence of an ability to work under pressure, within tight time-lines and strict attention to detail
Capable of working in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
Excellent verbal and writing skills with an emphasis on training and marketing documentation
Excellent client relationship skills and a proven ability to form strong business relationships
Design, develop, and deliver applications training
3-7 years’ experience within a financial services business environment
1-2 years’ experience in delivering classroom, 1 : 1 and virtual training
Strong understanding of the Research and Equity sales business
Experience using Captivate, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, SharePoint, or similar applications to develop training content
Experience working with 3rd party vendors
Japanese language skills would be helpful
