General Overview :
Responsible for all aspects of Financial Control and Administration. This includes financial & management accounting, commercial & business support, stewardship & internal control, taxation & treasury, information technology and administration.
The position is based in HK office with frequent travels to JV factory (CICAM) in Shenzhen, China is necessary. The position reports to the local General Manger, and functionally reports to the Division CFO in US.

Financial & Management Accounting
Produce consolidated financial and management accounts in a timely and accurate manner for local management (IFRS) and Safety and Security management (US GAAP).
Lead Annual budget and Quarterly forecasts in DTL and CICAM.
Use financial analysis and financial modeling techniques to analyze information and direct attention onto key issues.
Deliver FP&A reports to local & Safety and Security management, e.g. Sales Flash, Inventory Flash, Cashflow forecast, Variance analysis, Factory KPI, etc.
Commercial & Business Support
Partner with General Manager to provide effective finance business support in DTL office and CICAM factory, include but not limited to business modelling, scenario analysis and recommendations.
Support General Manager in liaison and maintaining relationship with JV Partner on financial related aspects.
Lead the costing function in DTL and CICAM and provide sound financial options to support commercial decisions like pricing and investment.
Stewardship & Internal Control
Ensure that the accounting records of DTL and CICAM are accurate.
Manage the Company's assets in the interests of DTL, including the investment in CICAM.
Maintain appropriate internal control procedures for DTL and CICAM according to Corporate requirements.
Engage in process improvement initiatives to maximize efficiency of company operations.
Taxation & Treasury
Work with Corporate Tax team on tax reporting, tax planning and transfer pricing issues.
Work with Corporate Treasury team on foreign currency hedging and other treasury issues.
Lead ERP upgrade and implementation project.
Ensure that DTL has the appropriate hardware, software and support.
Work with IT team to ensure that an adequate procedural framework is in place for disaster recovery and data protection and data integrity is of an acceptable standard.
Administer all aspects of insurance, be the point of contact with Corporate Insurance and the local brokers.
Maintain Personnel payroll records and keep abreast of relevant local ordinance.
Manage MPF relationship.
Liaise with Company Secretary on filing and compliance matters and insure that the Company's records are maintained satisfactorily.
Liaise with Corporate and 3rd to maintain records and filing of all Contracts, Agreements, and Resolutions related to the JV.
Qualified with internationally recognized accountancy body.
Experience in Financial and Management accounting including costing in manufacturing environment a must.
Experience in providing commercial / financial business support to senior management.
Solid experience with manufacturing operations in mainland China.
Experience in dual reporting matrix to local Management and US Corporate Functional Leader is highly preferred.
Proficient in ERP System, Hyperion Financial Management and Microsoft office applications preferred.
Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English.
Self starter, capable of running a Finance Department with minimal supervision.
Be a change agent and can drive change in Joint Venture environment.
Team player, able to motivate, delegate and obtain co-operation from Joint Venture colleagues based in Mainland China.
Customer focused when reporting. Able to distinguish between information and data.
Professional and capable of working with professional advisors like lawyers, tax advisors and auditors.
