Job Description

Capture, track, and report revenue and expenses; determine appropriate procedures for accounting record preparation, research of transactions and reporting.

Working with BPO, oversee, reconcile and resolve problems relative to accounting entries requiring judgement In depth knowledge of full balance sheet of small to medium sized entities.

Maintain and review accounting process controls, recommend and implement any approved modification as directed by management.

Develop, recommend and implement new or revised policies and procedures for better controls and efficiencies. Participate in critical analysis of existing systems and processes, identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities Develop and maintain desktop procedures and process documentation for Stryker processes.

Test, execute and document internal controls audit programs in accordance to SOX and Corporate policy Working with BPO, perform accounting month end close procedures, run and analyse financial reports, prepare financial reports for submission to Corporate for consolidations

Participate as a member of a project team and contribute to change management strategy through communication and collaboration with others.

Contribute to projects in specialized Champion subject matter or legal entities; propose solutions Serve as a liaison to local finance and BPO

Identify and resolve potential issues due to changes in accounting, governmental and corporate policies, processes, business practices and / or internal controls

Research possible solutions and make recommendations to management based on audit / report reviews, observations and identified accounting issues
