Position Overview

The Third Bridge Sales team is responsible for introducing Third Bridge's products and services to new prospective clients.

They are also responsible for overseeing the commercial relationships with our existing client base.

The VP, Account Management in our Hong Kong office would take responsibility for identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts, identifying risks and implementing plans to increase usage.


  • Oversee the client relationship management with active and inactive users, including scheduling meetings, conducting optimisation presentations and developing client training material
  • Identify inactive teams / business units across product lines and build relationships with influencers, sponsor users, decision makers and budget approvers
  • Develop a deeper understanding of client preferences and needs, and in particular, how to match this with relevant Third Bridge products
  • Develop account strategy and set account targets in conjunction with the Head of Account Management
  • Monitor client activity vs. internal targets
  • Manage Associate(s) to pro-actively push Forum calls in order to engage with inactive users
  • Planning and organising ideas dinners and other social events
  • Manage client trials and negotiate selected subscription renewals
  • Collect, document and report on feedback and usage patterns, and communicate relevant information to improve systems and processes and handle client enquiries
  • Maintain client user data on our systems (account structure, user preferences, compliance requirements, packages)
  • Liaise with account managers, research sales and product teams across the firm

  • Professional experience selling directly or indirectly to private equity firms
  • In-depth understanding of larger investment organisations and their needs
  • An understanding of deal origination, due diligence, the private equity investment process, public markets, fundamental research processes, hedge funds, mutual funds, bank desks
  • Client management skills incorporating a customer-centric attitude, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong motivation and flexibility needed to function in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor Degree
  • 4-5 years or above professional sales experience
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin essential
