We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Lending and Transaction Management Manager .

Principal responsibilities

  • Report to the Country Head of Lending and Transaction Management, Corporate with main responsibility for credit portfolio management or lending strategy related initiatives
  • Support the revenue generated and risk management responsibility of the lending and transaction team
  • Support Commercial Banking business in formulating, implementing and delivering local Commercial Banking credit related strategies and initiatives
  • Manage large transaction pipeline review and conduct a commercial review of facility structures with effective risk and portfolio management.
  • Manage credit process, including improving the credit application, business pipeline and conversion process for overall Commercial Banking
  • Meets the needs of Commercial Banking customers with formulation and implementation of relevant business strategies and initiatives while maximizing profits

  • Work with stakeholders to establishes a holistic understanding of our commercial customers and products
  • Cultivates a services and sales culture with robust customer experience frameworks
  • Requirements

  • Strategic awareness and commercial acumen
  • Very good understanding of HSBC credit policy, procedure and risk appetite
  • Very good understanding of lending practice, regulation and market development in Hong Kong and Key sites in
  • Asia Pacific
  • Strong interpersonal skills with highly developed capacity to influence senior teams
  • Ability to lead, motivate other senior stakeholders, managers across a wide range of strategic initiatives and agendas
  • Highly developed communication, presentation and influencing skills set.
  • Proven problem solving skills with ability to consider alternative and innovative solutions
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently under pressure
  • Ability to use strong judgmental skills to identify and resolve complex problems whilst managing ambiguity, adhering to timelines and ensuring high quality of output.
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Experience of managing and delivering cross functional programmes
