Our Hong Kong office is seeking a Portfolio Accountant in Financial Operations & Analysis .
The responsibilities of a Portfolio Accountant include, but are not limited to :
Demonstrate ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments
Assist in the preparation and analysis of quarterly property and debt valuations
Assist asset management team with compilation and analysis for investment budgets and business plans
Complete ad hoc portfolio and client analysis and requests
Act as liaison support between fund administration, asset management, joint venture partners, and fund clients
Help in the preparation of fund modeling and projections
Review performance and attribution data, provide variance data and trend insights
Assist in the review of financial statements, supporting schedules, and related footnotes
Understand and assist with schedules for compliance with Investment, Joint Venture, Property Management, and Fund Administration agreements
Help prepare schedules in compliance with IM agreement(s), JV agreement(s), and PM checklist(s)
Administer and report using NCREIF and Yardi data
Exhibit knowledge of economic, financial, and accounting principles and practices as well as the financial markets
We are seeking individuals who meet the following criteria :
5-7 years of fund accounting experience
Real Estate experience highly preferred
High performing finance, accounting, or economics graduate
Strong verbal and written communication skills
CPA or intention to obtain CPA preferred
Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage requests from multiple business partners
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
Proficiency in Microsoft Office package including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Fluent in English with proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese or Japanese a plus
