This is a joint appointment between the Department of Computer Science in the Faculty of Engineering and the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science in the Faculty of Science, with the former being the home department.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with research areas related to big data.
He / She should have a strong commitment to research and teaching. A solid track record in research is essential. Preference will be given to applicants who have applied research experience in big data, especially big data system development or big data analytics experience in domains such as internet data, financial data, market customer data, public services data and social science and humanities science research data.
