The Racing Event Marketing Department is responsible for marketing and promotion of horse racing and event management at the two racecourses.
It is established as a fully integrated functional unit to manage end-to-end marketing process from planning, campaign management to product positioning management.
You will :
design, integrate and deliver highly effective advertising and digital strategies to achieve the Club’s marketing and communications objectives
serve as a social platform subject matter expert, working with the social media team and agency to execute campaigns successfully and efficiently
be the key driver of creative visual and written content, including drafting, writing and editing
brainstorm and action new features to further build brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
develop retention, loyalty and reengagement plans to interact with current and potential customers locally and internationally
implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns
stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
coordinate with multi-level internal stakeholders as well as external partners to execute complex brand campaigns
You should have :
a university degree in business-related discipline, preferable in Marketing
minimum of 7 years brand marketing experience gained from global consumer brands and / or branding agency
sound knowledge of digital marketing including online and social media platforms
proven ability to build a social media community
understanding of Happy Wednesday’s brand positioning and demographics of end-users
native English speaker with excellent English writing and presentation skills; Fluency in Chinese is a plus
excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills, creative, result-oriented with high energy and a positive attitude
be an independent, multi-task oriented, and be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
passion for horseracing is an advantage
Terms of Employment
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualification and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate.
Contract renewal will be subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
