Financial Times Live is seeking an Events Executive. The candidate must be a versatile individual with at least 2 years of event experience.
Candidate will project manage the day to day event activities of the Financial Times events team.
Reporting into the Regional Project Manager, this role will work closely with the regional Events team, the marketing team, the content team and the Client Services Team.
In this role you’ll :
Assist the event manager on each event from initial brief through to actual on-site management
Report and update event manager of estimated vendor / supplier’s costs to ensure event accruals are kept up-to-date
Coordinate with the marketing, design, customer service, sales and external vendors & suppliers on all event collaterals and logistics for each event
Ensure that all supplier invoices are passed through to relevant team member promptly on receipt for approval
Assist with client liaison and handle logistical arrangement on their behalf
Attend all events as required per calendar
When on-site to carry out all required tasks as detailed by the event manager
Ensure all materials for events are ordered in time
You'll bring to the role....
2 year solid working experience, preferred in event management
Willing to travel
Flexible approach working hours can be varied
Ability to work within a team
Able to carry out manual handling duties
Customer facing work experience
