Assistant Manager/Senior Officer - Event & Public Relations

Roles and responsibilities :

  • Assist in the planning and execution of global PR campaigns to build brand awareness of different projects
  • Perform daily PR tasks, including media enquiries, photo shooting and manage and archive news clippings
  • Prepare project presentations for internal and external parties
  • Work closely with PR agencies and manage their work quality
  • Assist in the planning, development, production and delivery of events
  • Compile event budgets and handle procurement procedures
  • Prepare event action plans, timelines, fact sheets, rundowns, scripts and contingency plans
  • Coordinate with internal departments, partners and suppliers
  • Organise event operations and logistics
  • Handle guest invitation and reception
  • Coordinate with marketing and PR to promote and publicise events
  • On-site event management
  • Compile post-event report
  • Provide administrative and secretariat support to the team
  • Requirements :

  • Degree holder in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or relevant disciplines
  • 8 years of experience in marketing communications, public relations and event management in sizeable organization
  • Previous working experience in a sizable 4As PR agency is a plus, well-established relationship with media and relevant experience in retail and tourism highly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently
  • Less experienced candidates will be considered as Senior Officer, Event & Public Relations
