Fundamental Components

The sales support role will work closely with the Hong Kong / Taiwan Sales team to assist them with sales-related requests / issues.

Submission of Clients / Distributors-to-board applications, claim, billing, provide word processing support including spreadsheets, presentations, reports and other documents with a high degree of speed and accuracy.

Respond professionally to telephone calls and emails. Assist in the upkeep of the case files. Strong emphasis on supporting and keeping management informed of areas where processes may be improved.

Some degree of administrative support work.

Job Scope / Description :

  • Respond to general enquiries from both internal and external clients
  • Prepare daily sales reports (HK & Taiwan); liaise with operations / accounting team to remediate discrepancies
  • Generate daily peers analysis or other ad hoc analysis reports from Bloomberg and Morningstar
  • Create and maintain sales pipelines and client contacts in salesforce
  • Obtain EnC approval for all sales events, including roadshow & client event in HK & Taiwan, sponsorship, festival gifts (Mid-
  • Autumn; Christmas; Chinese New Year); marketing premiums & collaterals

  • Distribute bi-weekly, monthly & quarterly MS INVF fund factsheet, commentary, presentation deck and marketing collaterals to existing and prospect clients
  • Gather fund performance data and update team’s client introduction booklet
  • Coordinate portfolio review meeting logistics and delivery of presentation materials
  • Coordinate with client services team and provide data for selected clients / consultants customized quarterly / semi-annually fund template request.
  • Liaise with compliance team to ensure the marketing materials meet compliance and regulatory standard
  • Assist in RFP / RFI / due-diligence : coordinate with BDS team, printing of final package and arrange delivery
  • Liaise between client service team and other internal teams on issues of account setup and mapping at FPod and Salesforce
  • Lead Taiwan institutional luncheon event planning with our master agent
  • Provide support to MSIM event and conferences
  • Provide administrative support to the team, included but not limited to : calendar management, travel & logistics arrangement, expense reimbursement and vendor invoicing, printing and binding of presentation materials, set up conf call / VC meetings, and phone coverage, order of stationery
  • Work with marketing team on production & delivery of marketing premiums, desk diary, desk calendar, CNY red packet, festival gifts for clients
  • Qualifications

    Background / Experience desired :

  • General office skills (typing, filing, phone skills, etc.) required
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel & Outlook required
  • Sales support background is highly preferred
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Be able to work independently as well as part of a strong team
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills are a must
  • Candidate must be a quick learner with a positive attitude
  • Can type Chinese
  • Fluent English / Cantonese / Mandarin speaker
  • Knowledge of using Bloomberg & Morningstar. SFC Type 1 License
  • Education

  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • Functional / Ideal Experience
