Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree in disciplines of health promotion, public health, exercise or sports science, kinesiology, or related areas (for Research Assistant);
or plus at least four years of post-qualification working experience (for Senior Research Assistant); (ii) good communication, organization, and report writing skills;
iii) good computer skills; (iv) good command of spoken and written Chinese and English; and (v) an open, cheerful, innovative and positive work attitude.
Having work experience in tertiary institution would be an advantage.
Duties include (a) conducting laboratory test in fitness and exercise science; (b) management and maintenance of fitness and exercise laboratory;
c) literature search, documentation, and report writing; (d) data management and analysis; (e) support teaching and laboratory work related to fitness and exercise science research;
f) preparation of PowerPoint presentation; and (g) other research related work assigned by the supervisor.
Appointment will be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
