Business ITS strategy

  • Define, regularly adapt and communicate the long-term Business ITS strategy and plans, consistent with the ITS Function’s strategy and successfully supporting the strategies of the business
  • Propose innovative and cost-efficient ITS solutions to maximize business value, create competitive advantage, and constantly improve operational excellence
  • Lead the roll-out in Business of the ITS strategy related to projects, organizations or systems and anticipate future Business challenges
  • Communicate the long-term Business vision, strategy and plans within Unit ITS organization
  • Elaborate and maintain the Business ITS portfolio
  • Portfolio execution and Operational Excellence

  • Develop Business Cases to prioritize projects and make appropriate strategic decisions
  • Ensure dialogue across activities to build integrated and end-to-end solutions
  • Is responsible for the budget of programs & projects
  • Identify emerging business needs and support the creation of new ITS service lines, including long term funding of these new activities
  • Is co-accountable with business of executing business value and cooperation with other functions to drive successful projects
  • Monitor and communicate on the programs / projects portfolio progression
  • Contribute to full compliance (laws, regulations, company policies including security policy)
  • Business continuity

  • Provide leadership in time of crisis related to business in scope
  • With responsible GSC, monitor and communicate on service levels
  • Foster continuous efficiency improvements
  • Ensure agreement of business on service levels and related budgets
  • Contribute to full compliance (laws, regulations, company policies incl security policy)
  • Ensure that ITS is contributing to business continuity plans
  • Business Partnering

  • Be the preferred point of contact for the HKTW MCO organizations
  • Be accountable for all aspects of business relationship management from an ITS standpoint
  • Leadership

  • Lead, influence and engage teams involved in projects
  • Ensure regular and clear communication to align priorities of the stakeholders at local and global levels
  • Coordinate all BPs across GBUs and GSF / SBS working for the Business entity scope
  • Requirement

  • 10-15+ years of work experience and demonstrated management experience
  • Solid experience in pharmaceuticals & industrial environment
  • Ability to manage global and multi-cultural team and to work in large international group and global environment
  • Technical competencies

  • Knowledge of business area & good in planning and organizational skills
  • Project and Portfolio management
  • Business value creation orientation
  • Economics and accounting skills is preferable
  • Knowledge / interest in Digital (Multi-Channel Engagement, Big data, Cloud, )
  • Managing complexity & Innovation orientation
  • Excellent verbal and written English
  • Leadership and personal attributes
