Thesuccessful candidate will drive business development by ensuring our collectivetime, effort and capital is directed at market growth opportunities, retaining clients,expanding client relationships and winning new clients.
They will sponsor, leadand oversee regional initiatives / projects to establish Mercer’s brand andreputation as a leader and pre-
eminent trusted adviser and provider in Health,Wealth and Career. They will be responsible for building a highly effectiveleadership team, developing Country CEOs and Country Business Leaders andimproving employee engagement, development, retention and new talentacquisition.
Additional requirements will include :
Drives P&L for a unit of $7.5M -$100M in revenue at a country level, or for a unit less than $50M at the regionlevel.
Drives the unit's strategy to meetestablished targets and metrics by identifying the need for a particularsolution (i.e.
HR- or risk-related solutions), best mix of business, staffingand investments at the country or region level.
Directs a multi-functional team(e.g., Finance, Marketing, Human Resources) to ensure business strategy goalsand objectives are met for the country or region.
Determines operational and financialobjectives at the country or region level in order to grow the business andcontribute to company's top and bottom lines.
Implements and monitors short- andlong-term organizational goals and objectives to ensure alignment with broaderorganizational strategies.
Identifies local or regional M&Atransactions as well as new and existing opportunities to expand the businessportfolio
Leads the development of the peoplestrategy at the country or region level, and may direct units in defining theirbusiness strategies
Encourages and fosters cooperationwith the client industry, client consulting as well as MMC’s Operatingcompanies to meet local client needs
