Assist the Pricing Manager to provide actuarial services on productdevelopment projects and actuarial projects relating to business development aswell as channel compensation to the local business unit.
Analyze data and results to provide meaningful explanationsof results and trends and provide recommendations that are relevant to thebusiness
Prepare actuarial reports and results summaries inappropriate form for stakeholders
Coordinate with other actuarial and technical (e.g.investment) teams on assumptions, methodology, results and information required
Manage experience studies
Assist in planning and managing workflow for the team inline with priorities
Review work of junior staff for consistency, reasonableness,comprehensiveness and suitability for purpose
Provides ad-hoc support for the local business in line withpriorities
Support the business units in handling reinsurancearrangements and queries
Propose and implement improvements to regular departmentalprocesses, analyses, reports and documentation.
Maintain a clearly documented audit trail of data,assumptions, methods and financial results
Maintain up-to-date documentation ofprocesses
PassedSOA preliminary exams (Exams P, FM, MFE, MLC, C) or equivalent
Atleast four years’ experience in the Life Insurance industry
Goodcommand of business English, both in written and spoken form
