Reporting to the Director of Regional Marketing, this role will be based in Hong Kong and covers Hong Kong, Taiwan and China,.

The successful candidate will be responsible for 3 key areas :

  • Business : Growing sales & profits of the responsible markets via channel owner collaboration
  • Branding : Bring local market expertise and partner with global brand team in determining line of media mix, media strategy, and messaging
  • Operations : Be customer centric and efficiently converting local customers to repeat with emphasis in pricing, CVR, relevant content and destination management
  • For Business, our bookings take place across a range of channels (SEM, SEO, Mobile App, Email, Affiliate, etc.) that are led by regional owners.

    This role will work closely with these stakeholders to remove barriers, prioritize resources and drive new customer growth.

    For Branding, we run large-scale TV and digital campaigns working with leading advertising agencies to engage target audiences.

    This role will offer inputs for media and brand messaging to relevant stakeholders and contribute to local activation campaigns.

    For operations, we want to make sure our site has right payment options, pricing and hotel supply to improve conversion rate.

    This role will work closely with product and supply team to input test ideas and drive destination analysis

    Trading Management

  • Define subsidiary execution strategy & own the G. China P&L, including top-line and bottom-line targets
  • Focus on initiatives to drive new customer growth
  • Monitor trading and work with channels on corrective actions / initiatives (High involvement channels : Acquisition Marketing, Affiliate, Email, Mobile)
  • Deep-dive linked to trading issues & creation of turn-around plans (ad-hoc)
  • Locally Relevant Site

  • Represent the needs of responsible markets and collaborate with product team for potential local product enhancement and A / B testing opportunities
  • Monitor pricing and traffic funnel to drive better conversion rate
  • Bring local intelligence to improve localization
  • Address local customers’ needs and pain points
  • Supply Management

  • Lead special project to improve destination level hotel room night production
  • Use data for destination ROI assessment (vector analysis)
  • Branding

  • Bring in local expertise to help determining line of media mix, media strategy, and messaging
  • Support local activation campaign with PR, Social and branding stunt
  • Qualifications

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, and fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese
  • Degree in Business or Marketing is essential (MBA a plus)
  • With strong analytical and Excel skills and demonstrate a passion for working with digital marketing data to achieve business goals
  • Has ability to cut through complexity and turn high-level business requirements into actionable projects
  • 5+ years B2C marketing experience
  • Project or campaign management
  • Must have experience in online reporting and tracking tools
